Life Lessons Tarot: Who Dares Wins!

The British SAS have a motto: Who dares wins!

Now, if you’ve watched the TV show about the SAS origins like I have – Rogue Heroes, lotsa fun – you’ll know that this organisation started off as a very dodgy bunch with an extremely cavalier attitude towards human life, so perhaps we should take their motto with a grain of salt.

However, Tarot preaches a similar message in Life Lessons Tarot (aka Major Arcana).

To read this message the cards need to be arranged like this…

The first line represents childhood, the second adulthood and the last line represents maturity. The relationships between each line hold meaning. And one of these relationships spells out a similar message to the SAS motto.

It relates to these cards…

The Magician: Showing potential

Strength: Developing confidence

The Devil: Feeling trapped

These cards sit one below the other in the Life Lessons Spread.

They are a reminder that if you don’t fulfil your potential, if you don’t have the inner strength to stand up for what feels right for you, you’ll end up in a place you don’t want to be, feeling trapped. A place of despair.

You need to quit that unfulfilling job

Leave that controlling partner

Ask for help if you’re drowning with parenthood, even though it’s hard to admit you can’t cope

Speak your truth.

Whoever dares to do so will win a life that feels right!

Do you find it easy or difficult to stand up for yourself?
