The Fool is the first card in the Life Lessons section of Tarot (aka the Major Arcana.) It represents our first actions and feelings. This card asks us to have trust. To trust that when we leap off the precipice we will not be crushed on rocks below but will land on our feet. To trust that everything will work out okay in the future.
It comes up again and again in life.
You have to trust that you will be able to look after your children when you have them.
You have to trust that you will be able to do the jobs you take on.
You have to trust that things work out for the best no matter what happens to you.
Or it does your head in. Leads to mental illnesses such as anxiety and depression.
This card really resonates for me at the moment.
I have to trust that even though I’m currently using up all my personal leave to look after a sick relative I won’t need it again soon and that I will be okay financially in the future.
I have to trust that my relative will get better before my leave runs out.
I have to trust that the books I am writing will find a market. Even though a 22 part chapter series is unheard of in successful publishing circles.
How easy or hard is it for you to trust?
