Tarot cards are similar to playing cards. In fact they both turned up around the same time during the fourteenth century. Clearly, they’re related somehow.

Which has got me wondering…

If the ace cards in playing decks can be valued as one or 11, can the ace cards in Tarot be seen as either the beginning or mastery, depending on the situation?

The Ace of Wands could be the start of an exciting new adventure or business success.

The Ace of Cups could be introduction to a romantic partner or the birth of a baby.

The Ace of Swords could be an interesting new idea or publication of a book.

The Ace of Pentacles could be finding the perfect plot of land to build your house or receiving an inheritance.
