Wow. I think you’re going to be blown away by the link I’m sharing with you today. Just as I’ve been. It’s a real time video of the full moon a couple of days ago rising over the Mount Victoria Lookout in Wellington, New Zealand. The video, shot 2 k away on the other side of the city by astrophotographer Mark Gee, shows people gathering at the lookout as the moon comes up over the horizon.

Watching the magnificent orb begin its slow ascent up the heavens gives you a great sense of the numinous. Of the Something More that so many sense beneath the surface of things. The image of tiny sightseers scuttling against the backdrop of the moon’s enormous silhouette really puts us in our place in the universe. As Shakespeare said, ‘There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in our philosophies.’

This clip plugs you into The Moon card’s energy. The What Lies Beneath and Beyond. The unknown unknowable foundations of the human psyche and existence itself. The stuff we can only wonder at, never fully understand.
