The Tarot Of Losing Your Driving Mojo!

I’ve noticed lately that I haven’t been so good at this…

The Chariot

The Chariot: Driving

I think it’s because of this…

Knight Swords R

Knight Of Swords Reversed: I’m not processing things as quickly as I used to. For over twenty years I’ve been able to text/eat a pie/change the CD as well as duck and weave through traffic with ease (yes yes I know I shouldn’t but there you go I’m not perfect and ps I’ve been a bleeping great driver no accidents ever knock on wood and now I’m raving so I better get back to the point).

The reason I’m slower to react on the road is because of this…

Death

Death: Getting older. I’m loving my 40s sick but physically and mentally you definitely start to deteriorate.

So I’m gonna have to do this…

Temperance

Temperance: Make adjustments. Slow down. Stop trying to do 2 things at once. Drive less at night etc etc etc.

Otherwise I’m in serious danger of this…

The Tower

The Tower: Having an accident. Swerving into the next lane has become my specialty of late and that MUST be put to a stop.

The sad thing is it’s made me appreciate…

King Wands

King Of Wands: …what an amazing driver I used to be. ‘Used’ is such a sad word when stuck in a sentence with ‘me’ not to mention ‘driver’.

There are many things I love about driving such as…

8 Wands

Eight Of Wands: …the quick-wittedness it requires. You have to constantly be on your game. (Hmm, not sure if the Eight Of Wands is the right card for this attribute. Can anyone suggest a better one?)

Not to  mention that…

The High Priestess

The High Priestess: The meditative nature of driving helps me…

The Magician

The Magician: …come up with lots of great ideas behind the wheel.

But sigh, I’m losing my driving mojo and there’s absolutely nothing I can do about it.
