Things that come to mind when I think of The Fool:
Let’s jump right to it, shall we? The Fool would after all. The Fool is Tarot’s ground zero and my personal motif. My nickname for him is Possibility. He is the soul waiting to be born. Open to every experience before him. Prepared to become anyone, anywhere. To accept whatever gifts and griefs fall his way. Trusting that whatever comes his way is for the best. The world is his chupa chup (one of my daughters strongly objects to oysters). He lives outside time, even outside the Tarot. Once he enters the mortal realm we can only encounter him in the form of The World. And uffa (Italian exclamation), that requires a long and painful journey.
But don’t just take my word for it. What do you think he represents?
