Throwback Thursday is a chance to revisit some of my favorite posts. Seeing as how fans like myself are beginning to rev up for the next season of GoT I thought I’d take the opportunity to revisit where the TV show began by republishing the Tarot of Game of Thrones Season One. Continue reading
I plan a post on the Tarot of The Beauty Pageant Winner and by an amazing coincidence the winner of Miss America is crowned at the same time. I must have been picking up the vibes in the air somehow. More importantly, I finally have a clear enough head to write a post two days in a row, whoo-hoo, now that really is something worth celebrating. Let’s get stuck into it shall we?
I’ve just been on a mad Game Of Thrones bender. Watched all season two in one long blissful night. So I thought I’d have a go at discussing the Tarot of GOT Season Two. I won’t be able to explain everything, the tapestry is too rich, but will try to pinpoint some of the major themes and characters.

But I’m enjoying the characters. The women are unexpectedly diverse and well-rounded. And even though I haven’t quite got to the end of season one I thought it would be fun to explore the Tarot of the leads.
Court cards are complicated. I’m talking page, knight, queen and king. They seem to have a lot of different meanings which I’m still coming to grips with. One of the things they can definitely represent is people. People you know or you yourself. I thought it would be fun to take a tongue-in-cheek look at the Queen cards and guess what kind of woman they would be in real life. Keep in mind that Queens represent the epitome of womanhood for each suit. They’re not girls they’re mature women in their prime.
The Queen of Wands: The ultimate multi-tasker. Continue reading
