I attended the Women’s March in Melbourne this afternoon. The first of many being held around the world in support of the Women’s Marches in the U.S. tomorrow. Six thousand of us turned up. Not a shabby turnout for a sunny weekend day during summer.
I’m not a regular political activist. I don’t join marches at the drop of a hat. So I want to explore the Tarot of what I experienced… Continue reading →
As President-Elect of the United States of America, Donald Trump is going to be in our faces a great deal for the next few years. No matter which side of the political fence you fall on, no matter what you think of him, there’s no doubt that he falls under this Tarot card… Continue reading →
Love this. I did a Tarot reading online today and got the Seven Of Wands. It said: Clear communication is vital. Stand up and be heard.
That message fits in so well with this card. Look at the man with the wand in his hand battling away there. He’s trying to say something. Trying to be heard amongst the rabble. You can see that he’s facing a great deal of opposition. It’s never easy to get your message across when it differs from what others say or believe. But wands cards demand you be brave.
If you get the Seven Of Wands in a reading it could be a sign that you need to speak up for yourself. In which case you should absolutely go for it. Good luck!
Don’t you hate it when it’s late and you’re tired and you just need to print off a couple of things for work tomorrow but the $#!@ printer refuses to work. That happened to me tonight. Lights were flashing on the bleeping machine but I couldn’t work out what they meant. The printer might as well have been speaking an alien language. The instruction booklet was written in Mandarin so that was useless. But the thing was I really really really needed to print off those pages.
There’s nothing for it when technology goes on the blink but to work through the problem as logically and calmly as you can. And never ever ever give up. Because hacking into the printer with an axe is never going to solve the situation (although it’s tempting to do it anyway.) Dealing with technology is very much a Seven Of Wands situation. You just have to keep battling on until you find the answer. Thank God for Google that’s all I can say.
I’ve just been on a mad Game Of Thrones bender. Watched all season two in one long blissful night. So I thought I’d have a go at discussing the Tarot of GOT Season Two. I won’t be able to explain everything, the tapestry is too rich, but will try to pinpoint some of the major themes and characters.
Seven Of Wands: A man defends himself using one wand against six others. He is under attack and the odds are against him. The two different shoes on his feet suggest he’s on uneven footing yet note that he’s fighting from a position of strength at the top of the hill.
