Seven Of Pentacles Reversed: What’s The Point In Trying?

I’m having one of those days when I just can’t get my head straight. There’s a million things I could do but none of them seem to be getting me anywhere. So why bother? Which makes me think of this card…

The Tarot Of Christmas Holidays

As some peeps begin to return to work after the long Christmas-New Year break I thought it might be a good time to explore the Tarot of these holidays.

10 Wands

Ten Of Wands: How we feel before the holidays begin. Over-burdened. Exhausted. Especially at Christmas time when present shopping and school concerts and card sending and work functions are added to the usual load.

Seven Of Wands: Stand Up And Be Heard!

7 Wands

Love this. I did a Tarot reading online today and got the Seven Of Wands. It said: Clear communication is vital. Stand up and be heard.

That message fits in so well with this card. Look at the man with the wand in his hand battling away there. He’s trying to say something. Trying to be heard amongst the rabble.  You can see that he’s facing a great deal of opposition. It’s never easy to get your message across when it differs from what others say or believe. But wands cards demand you be brave.

If you get the Seven Of Wands in a reading it could be a sign that you need to speak up for yourself. In which case you should absolutely go for it. Good luck!

Nine Of Wands Reversed: Being Paranoid

9 Wands R

Nine Of Wands: A man stands holding onto a wand looking ready for battle. He’s primed and prepped to defend his territory. The bandage around his head suggests he’s experienced heavy fighting. The line of wands at his rear are the skills he’s drawn on to survive.

Reversed, the man is drawing on this energy in a dysfunctional way. He’s on guard. Defensive. Fired up for no reason. Prepared for a fight without any provocation. Paranoid.

I would expect this card to come up on a regular basis for survivors. Those who’ve experienced a great deal of trauma in their lives. It can be hard when you’ve lived through a lot of battles to believe you don’t need to fight anymore.

Anyone like to share their experiences with this card?
