The Tarot Of Mental Illness
I promised a lovely lady on my Facebook page ages ago that I’d republish all my medical Tarot blogs. Here’s one I found. Sorry it took so long…
I’ve had way more experience of mental health issues in the last few years than I ever wanted to so I thought it might be time to tackle the Tarot of Mental Illness in more depth. Unsurprisingly the cards involved include those in the last section of Life Lessons Tarot (aka the Major Arcana). Note: These cards might turn up reversed in a reading about mental illness.
Nine Of Swords: The Princess And The Pea Syndrome
I had a meeting with a parent after school today to discuss her child’s progress as there is an underlying issue that concerns us both. Unfortunately we weren’t able to come up with a solution on the spot. And all night long no matter what else I’ve been doing this problem has been turning over at the back of my mind. Like a dog with a bone I just can’t let it go. Because I want to do a good job as a teacher but its hard when you’re inexperienced. Because I care about my students. Take my responsibility for them seriously.

FYI: The Medical Tarot
I thought we might have a look today at Tarot cards associated with medical issues. NOTE: Just because these cards turn up in a reading does NOT mean you have a medical condition. As I keep on saying, there are 50 shades of Tarot, 50 possible meanings (or thereabouts), for each card. Please take the following with a large grain of salt. Some I’m sure of.
