The Ten of Wands and Ten of Swords can be difficult to tell apart.
At least they can for me.
So let’s explore the differences between them…
Like quite a few other peeps I’m having a big New Year’s clean-up, clear-up and sort-out at home at the moment. What else are holidays for? #criesquietlyinacorner
The Tarot cards involved in this exercise would probably include… Continue reading
There have been a high number of fatalities on the road over the holiday period in Australia this year. Which is just awful. So much loss, so much grief. So tragic that those who set out with such high hopes for the holiday season ended up suffering so much.
Bad driving would be represented by this card…
There’s a numerological formula you can use to work out your Tarot Card of the Year. This card represents the type of experiences you can expect to have during that year. I’ve been using the formula for so long I can’t remember where I learnt this trick, but I find it quite reliable.
The formula gives you a number that correlates with one of the Life Lesson aka Major Arcana cards. Clearly something has shifted during my absence because I no longer feel the need to apologise anymore. Anything I have to give is a gift.
Carrie Fisher is another woman who learnt the long hard way not to apologise for being who she was. As many of us are currently mourning her loss right now it seems apt to illustrate this topic with one of her more famous quotes.

It seems appropriate on Valentine’s Day to explore the Tarot of Fifty Shades of Grey which has just been released world-wide as a movie.
Everyone has the power for greatness, not for fame but greatness, because greatness is determined by service.

I couldn’t agree more. Service is the realm of this card… Continue reading
